Interested in Publishing with EFA Publications?
The École française d’Athènes supports authors at every stage of the scholarly and editorial preparation of their publication. This section brings together the key information needed to prepare a manuscript to the highest standards and to understand the various stages of the publication process.
The guidelines for authors have been fully reorganised and updated to make them easier to consult. In particular, bibliographic citation standards have been harmonised and are now presented more clearly.
All practical information — including manuscript preparation, editorial guidelines, illustrations, bibliographic references, editorial support, distribution and legal matters — is organised into a series of thematic guides.
These guides support authors throughout the preparation of their book. They are regularly expanded and updated to reflect developments in editorial practices and publishing tools. Authors are encouraged to consult them before submitting a publication proposal or manuscript.
