Περίληψη / Resume / Résumé
The recent excavations at the fortifications of Delphi (2017-2021) have made it possible to change the commonly accepted plan of the two different phases of the site’s defensive construction and to specify their date, in the 4th century BC and the 6th century AD. Moreover, the discovery of a new residential area and two necropolises sheds new light on the entire urban history of a site that turns out to be more extensive than previously thought.
Co-organised by the Institute of Historical Research of the NHRF, the Department of History and Archaeology of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and the École Française d’Athènes.
