Ce projet s’intéresse aux populations minoritaires dans le contexte des transitions politiques qui accompagnent la fin de l’Empire ottoman de l’Égypte aux Balkans et à leur adaptation à la tendance à l’homogénéisation culturelle. Il s’agira moins d’étudier la mobilité des populations minoritaires que leur enracinement, c’est-à-dire la perpétuation d’une normalité en situation anormale.
